The introduciton of heavy copper board

Heavy copper printed circuit board refers to a pcb made of high thickness copper on a printed circuit board (PCB). It has heavier copper than a standard copper heavy PCB, typically up to 1OZ, 2OZ, or higher. They are designed for electronic devices that meet high power and current requirements, with the main advantages of high reliability, high risk resistance, and better heat dissipation.

Heavy copper boards are mainly used in many fields, such as healthcare, aerospace, military, and industrial control. In the field of healthcare, these boards are widely used in various cardiac pacemakers and wearable medical devices, which require more power and current support. In the aerospace and military fields, heavy copper circuit boards are used to manufacture various advanced radar, navigation, and communication systems.

Compared to standard PCBs, the manufacturing process for heavy copper boards is basically the same, except that more copper materials are required. Generally, the process of manufacturing heavy copper boards is more complex than standard PCBs. This is due to the need for more heating and chemical treatment of heavy copper plates to achieve sufficient conductivity and ensure their uniformity and accuracy.

In summary, heavy copper boards are reliable, efficient, and powerful circuit boards that can be widely used in fuses, transformers, relays, and other high-performance electronic devices. They play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and long-term reliability.
